Honestly the cycle of abuse can get a woman to that point where we look into the mirror and see ourselves but the outside world is looking at us entirely different. 2+2=5, the sky is green, the whole nine. It looks messed up but it’s so hard to see that when you’re in it. The saddest part is that when he tells her he loves her, she probably believes it. Love isn’t supposed to hurt, but in abusive relationships literally nothing makes sense.
