It’s been frustrating to see that, just like in the aftermath of other hurricanes, the speed at which help arrives is highly dependent on zip code, and thus, on race. Preventative measures like flood insurance or being able to have the funds to purchase a generator are a privilege and aren’t accessible to the people who honestly need it most.
