Multigenerational trauma is brutal, and you’re right—if generational curses aren’t broken, they’ll continue to wreak havoc for generations to come. Nobody likes to hear about it. I remember attempting to have an honest conversation with my mom about the way that abusive men have affected her and her family for generations. I’m committed to having that stop with me so that my future kids don’t end up in the same situations I did. My mom wasn’t happy to hear about it. My sister is still affected.
