There’s a saying, “until it is hit, the nail doesn’t believe in the hammer.” That so many people voted for Trump thinking he would make America great again for them while ignoring the mechanics and cost of how he planned to do so would be laughable if it wasn’t so terrifying. I hope it’s a massive charade, but I haven’t been able to reassure myself that it is. So much power in the hands of people who lack critical thinking skills can do a lot of damage.
